Senior Engineer, Operation Work Process

Purpose of Role

 To develop and maintain expertise of the assigned manufacturing methodology, provide high quality methodology consultative services, identify and deliver methodology improvements and provide technical trainings curriculum & content for improving methodology competence at Advanced  Sites.

Brief Job Description:

•  Manage globally distributed team, ensuring common practices, resource utilization, networking and sharing within the team, succession planning and management.

•  Develop/ control and deploy best in class methodology work process

•  Develop short and long term methodology objective strategy plan    

•  Develop and maintain expertise for the assigned methodology.

   Provide curriculum and content for methodology technical training.

•  Lead and coordinate the work of the ME methodology team located as appropriate at Advanced  sites globally

•  Provide cost effective high-quality expert consultative services to Advanced sites to support use of the assigned methodology and resolve complex issues in methodology application

•  Identify and deliver improvements in methodology

•  Maintain an evolving knowledge base for the assigned methodology and ensure knowledge dissemination and sharing among methodology users

•  Coordinate deployment/use of external methodology experts.

•  Lead or participate in relevant internal and external technical networks, conferences an •        Measure/ monitor the effectiveness of methodology studies undertaken at sites

•  Provide guidelines for methodology auditing process

•  Lead or participate in methodology audits as appropriate d technical committees.

Education:

• Bachelor deggree in Engineering 

Experience:

•  At least 15 years experience with substantial exposure to operational and technical activities

Skills & Competencies:

•  Strong technical background in the assigned methodology

•  Passion for continuous improvement

•  Understanding of plant operations and maintenance as appropriate

•  Strong customer-oriented mindset

•  Leadership qualities (inter-personal skills, communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, judgment.
