QC Specialist

Brief Job Description:

• Ability to address the Lab safety standards, HSE protocol, polymer and hydrocarbon plant safety rules and regulation.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
• Good collaborative skills, fosters teamwork and good performance management skills.
• Demonstrate high knowledge of writing SOP's of new lab instruments.
• Skilled and very capable to handle operation and troubleshooting of Gas chromatographs, Spectroscopy, Elemental instruments and Polymer equipment.
• Demonstrate Quality management skill and Time management skill.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous with data accuracy and precision. 
• Prime-mover in improving technicians knowledge of new working procedures within the department.
• Familiar with critical equipment spare parts and consumables and ability to promote inventory thru LIMS.

Education:

Minimum qualification required is a high school with 20+ years experience in QC Laboratory or diploma graduate of science, chemistry or related field with 15+ years experience.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledgeable of Lab safety standards, HSE protocol, hydrocarbon and polymer plant safety rules and regulation
• Familiar about properties and safe handling procedures of routine samples.
• Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English
• Should be Familiar with water, hydrocarbon and polymers sample analysis.
• Knowledge in the use of LIMS and SAP applications for data management and Equipment breakdown history.
• Organize frequent brainstorming sessions and has extensive experience in dealing with RCA methodologies.
• Knowledgeable with flow diagrams and troubleshooting for most of the equipment in the laboratory.
• Skilled and competent in Technical Evaluation of New Laboratory Equipment and Applications involved.
• Proficient in planning, developing and commissioning back up equipment for major test in the laboratory in case of breakdowns.
• Effective planning of FCC control and management
