Project Engineer

Purpose of Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineer who is specialized in Instrumentation & Process Control to join our Project development team with 7- years of experience in petrochemicals industry, of which at least 3 years in I&C project engineering. PDC Teams are responsible and accountable for the delivery of best-in-class capital projects. PDC is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design, procurement, and construction of various sizes ($), types and complexity of small, medium to mega projects.

Brief Job Description:

• Manage the entire I&C project lifecycle, from design and specification to procurement to installation & commissioning and startup.
• Ensure projects meet objectives, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide technical expertise across all project phases (studies, design, construction, commissioning).
• Review and approve vendor / contractor documents.
• Collaborate effectively with PMT members (process, electrical) for optimal I&C solutions.
• Uphold safety, quality, and adherence to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve I&C issues throughout the project.
• Completes documentation work of all related projects.
• Thorough knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) is required.
• Provides awareness / Training to the applicable department personnel.
• Stay updated on I&C advancements for continuous improvement.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in instrument engineering or a closely related field.

Experience:

• 7 years minimum years of experience in petrochemicals or oil gas industry
• Proven experience in the design and development of a variety of Instrumentation & Process Control projects.
