Brief Job Description:

Project Development

  • Adhere to the company policy, system, processes and procedures
  • Develop Project Engineering Department systems, processes and procedures and ensure proper alignment with the company systems, processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that Project Engineering Department systems, processes and procedures are as per the industry best practices and international code and standards.
  • Ensure all the Project Engineering Department contractors and direct hire employees comply with the company and division policy, system, process and procedures.
  • Understand and define the content and scope of key strategic projects to achieve organizational goals, creating and delivering solutions to organization challenges.
  • Create, manage and deliver project work plans and ways of working to meet changing organizational needs and requirements, sharing and embedding these across the business.
  • Effectively consult and communicate with internal departments to ensure engagement in key strategic projects.
  • Deliver progress reports, proposals, and other required documentation to various audiences, including project teams, internal and external sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Work with our finance team to ensure projects are appropriately costed, ensuring value for money and that efficiency savings can be realized.
  • Familiar in development and management of project budgets
  • Is responsible for project documentation during project phases to provide clear direction to the project team.
  • Standardize procedures and documentation for projects phases.
  •  Is responsible for the transition of project information and knowledge related to projects and keep management aligned.
  • Organize and manage project kick off meetings.
  • Conduct project post evaluation as applicable and required.
  • Led good number of site projects and familiar with plant requirements and risks.

 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical , Electrical or Chemical Engineering. Preferred Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in petrochemical industry, with minimum 5 years of experience in project department and familiar with manufacturing priorities.
