Job Purpose:

To ensure effective planning, preparing services scope, review of technical contract scope, technical evaluation, prepare maintenance plans, day to day Planning, KPI monitoring & follow up, Turnaround Planning, Scheduling, Turnaround monitoring and reports.

 

Job description / Key responsibilities:

To coordinate with end user, AED for material codification process

To ensure the stock material creation / amendment requests meet the system requirements such as description, manufacturer part number, quantity, reference of engineering drawings, equipment specification, and spare parts criticality.

To coordinate with end user & Procurement Services in timely procurement and availability of material and spare parts.

To work for material standardization and data cleansing.

To analyse dormant and obsolete stock and plan for appropriate action.

To assist in planning of turnaround / shutdown and timely procurement of required item.

To coordinate with utilization of MDRM for cataloguing purpose and avoiding duplicate code generation.

To identify & verify duplicate item and assist Procurement Services (SMO) to resolve it and receive notification of duplicate merger completion.

Participate in the technical and performance evaluation of suppliers.

To coordinate updating of material master data, SPIR data and BOM data in SAP.

To assist department in compliance of ISO & other best practices, standards.

To provide necessary inputs for weekly and monthly reports.

To maintain various master data related to plant equipment, their maintenance and reliability,

consumable items, spares etc.

To work in conjunction with Planning manager / planning supervisor in producing / changing the

necessary and requisite maintenance procedures and work-instructions.

To prepare weekly / monthly reports as per requirement.

To assist department in compliance of ISO & other audits

To assist in shutdown and turn-around planning and procurement of material.

To prepare TA job packages aligning with scope

To plan and organize required resources material & services

To carry out technical evaluation & coordinate with PMD, EHSS, Technical & procurement,

To perform related special tasks or assignments as & when required.

 

Educational qualification:

Engineering graduate or diploma engineer in mechanical discipline

 

Experience:

8-10 years of relevant experience in process / petrochemical plants.

 

Competencies:

Knowledge of Safety Standards / procedures,

Understanding of environmental aspects, environmental regulations and legal requirements.

Knowledge of environmental aspects & impacts – their identifications, monitoring & control.

Hands-on computer literacy including Microsoft Office.

Use of relevant SAP modules, PM & MM.

Highly developed maintenance & Turnaround planning skills.
